Raising your hand in sessions
This guide explains how to raise your hand during a session. Raising your hand signals your intent to speak or ask a question without interrupting. An animated hand appears on your tile, and the raise hand icon remains highlighted until you lower your hand.

You can raise your hand during sessions if you have permission. If you don't see the Raise hand icon, you don't have permission.

Before you begin
Raising Your Hand
Select the Raise hand icon from the bottom center of your session toolbar during the session.
Once selected, an animated hand will appear on your tile.
The raise hand icon will remain highlighted, indicating your hand is raised.
Select the raise hand icon to raise your hand in a session.
Lowering your hand
Select the raise hand icon again when ready to lower your hand.
The animated hand will be removed from your tile.
The raise hand icon will no longer be highlighted, indicating that your hand is no longer raised.
